Celebrating the 85th Anniversary of Montecristo, Habanos released the Montecristo Supremos Edición Limitada 2019 in Italy early last year.
With its heavy 55 ring gauge, the Supremos is one of the thickest Montecristos ever commercially produced. The size is known in Cuban factories as a Montesco sharing the same dimensions as the Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill.
This cigar is made of wrapper and filler leaves coming from the Vuelta Abajo region, that have been meticulously selected. After that, the leaves were aged for at least two years before being rolled according to the "Totalmente a Mano" tradition.
