Drew Estate has described Undercrown as a "reverse Liga Privada" cigar, sharing many of the same tobacco components as their popular Liga Privada No. 9 and T52 lines, but with a unique twist.
The Drew Estate Undercrown range is a medium-to-full bodied blend inspired by the popularity of the Liga Privada line. Handcrafted with many of the same tobaccos, but of different vintages and primings. The Undercrown features Brazilian and Nicaraguan fillers and Nicaraguan binder shrouded in a dark brown San Andres Maduro wrapper.
The combination of these tobaccos results in a full-bodied smoke that is rich, bold, and complex. The initial draw reveals notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and leather, which are followed by hints of spice and sweetness. As the cigar burns, the flavours intensify, and the smoke becomes more robust and satisfying.
