Since returning to the U.S.A. (he spent the 80's and early 90's, as so many notable American performers before him, honing his skills in the highly competitive British music scene) David Morreale has released two commercial efforts, "Blood and Bridges," (no longer available) and "The Book of David," available now on Mud Luscious Records. David has recieved numerous awards as a songwriter, and has been invited to be a featured songwriter at Nashville's prestigious BlueBird Cafe in May of 2000. His repertoire of original work spans the globe of musical styles and reflects David's abiding interest in international cultures. "My influences are many and varied, from Blues Traveller, and John Mellencamp, to Bob Marley and Salif Keita, with a very healthy dose of modern sensibilities thrown into the mix."
