The Monterreyes No. 4 is the latest addition to Habanos' prestigious Limited Edition line, making it the seventh Edición Limitada for Hoyo de Monterrey. Announced at the 2021 Habanos World Days online festival, this cigar boasts a brand new size, Maravillas No. 4.
The cigar measures 145mm long with a ring gauge of 55. It’s similar to the previous Grand Epicure Limited Edition but offers the signature Hoyo de Monterrey light yet elegant strength. Meticulously handcrafted with tobaccos that have undergone the special two-year ageing process reserved for Edición Limitada cigars, promising a refined smoking experience. Presented in a beautiful varnished wooden box of ten, the Hoyo de Monterrey Monterreyes No. 4 is sure to be a hit with collectors and cigar aficionados alike.
The initial flavour profile presents a tart note of cedar, which quickly finds balance with richer notes of leather, coconut, and roasted chestnut. A subtle wisp of chocolate lingers on the palate, creating a satisfyingly chewy finish.
